Ticket prices

A ticket to Werchter Boutique costs 92 euro, including service fee and a mobility contribution. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.

For festival goers with a disability, specific tickets for the wheelchair platform are available.

⚠️ Buy your tickets from www.ticketmaster.be only. Don't blindly order your tickets through the first website that pops up on your search engine. Stay vigilant!

There is a legal framework in Belgium that curbs the resale of tickets. The law of 30 July 2013 concerning the sale of tickets to events states that:

  • The occasional resale of tickets is allowed if the sale price is not higher than the definitive price that is on the ticket.
  • The non-occasional or regular reselling, or making platforms available where non-occasional resale can take place or where the price can exceed the maximum permitted price is prohibited.
  • The sale of free tickets, invitations, sponsor tickets or special offers of tickets before the official sale date is prohibited.
  • The victim of above mentioned practices can reclaim from the reseller the excess amount paid.

Nevertheless, the trade in festival tickets on parallel markets is rampant. Contrary to tickets purchased via the official ticket channels, tickets purchased on the black market do not guarantee validity. All too often we find that fraudulent tickets are offered via these channels. It is possible that tickets purchased on a parallel market are on the blacklist, so the access to the festival will be refused.

What about the tickets bought for Werchter Boutique 2020? Will these be refunded?

All Werchter Boutique 2020 ticket holders will be personally informed by email, by our ticketing partner Ticketmaster.

Your order for tickets to Werchter Boutique 2020 will be fully transferred to the 2022 event. You can find your order and your ticket in 'My Account' on Ticketmaster.be. If you wish to convert your order into credit, you can do so here until 13 December 2021. That credit can be spent on festivals taking place at Festivalpark Werchter up to, and including, 31 August 2023. More info can be found here

The Belgian Minister for Economic and Consumer Affairs has implemented measures for the entire live music industry. This measure protects you as a consumer and also reduces the impact of the current crisis for the organisers. Read more on this in Dutch or French.

In practical terms, this means you will receive a credit to the value of the full amount you paid for your booking for Werchter Boutique. This credit is available in ‘My Account’ on Ticketmaster.be. You can spend the credit on any of the festivals organised in the Festivalpark in Werchter up to, and including, 31 August 2023.

A change in the ticket offer is to be noted, compared to Werchter Boutique 2020. There will not be a separate Golden Circle category for the 2022 festival. Golden Circle Ticket holders can convert their order into a credit voucher until 13 December 2021. Those who wish to convert their Golden Circle Ticket into a regular ticket to Werchter Boutique 2022, can do so as well. The price difference will be refunded in this case. Your new ticket to Werchter Boutique 2022 will be available in 'My Account' on Ticketmaster.be after this transfer.

Do you have any questions on these measures? Take a look on Ticketmaster's FAQ pages.

Are Golden Circle tickets available?

No, there will not be any Golden Circle tickets available for this festival.

Help! I bought tickets through a non-official vendor. Now what?

Order your tickets exclusively through Ticketmaster!

Don't blindly order your tickets through the first website that pops up on your search engine. Chances are you are visiting an auctioning website or a ticket reseller. Not only will tickets offered through these websites be more expensive; you also risk being denied access to the festival. Have you bought a ticket through one of these websites? First of all, try getting in touch with this website. Sometimes, you'll be refunded the price difference. If not, consider legal action in civil court. Always report the resale to the Economic Inspectorate via meldpunt.belgie.be. Also read more here.

The name on my ticket is not mine. Will that cause me any trouble?

Does the name on your festival ticket not match with your own name? Don’t worry too much about this! If the ticket was purchased via the official channels, it’s valid.

If the original buyer of the ticket does not accompany you when you enter the festival, please make sure the condition of the ticket, the printing quality and especially the barcode are impeccable. Print out your ticket on a white sheet of paper, and make sure the other side remains unused. Dirty, wet or laminated tickets and badly printed or unclear barcodes are not readable by the scanners. In that case, we can only give a copy of the ticket to the original ticket buyer.

However, don’t buy your tickets via auction websites or second hand ticket websites. Tickets that are offered for an exuberant amount of money, will be blacklisted and made invalid, which means they don’t grant you access to the festival.
