Two new names for Werchter Boutique! OneRepublic and Goldband join the bill today. That means lots of hits, lots of singing along, and above all a lot of partying. It has already been announced that P!NK will headline the festival. Werchter Boutique takes place on Saturday 17 June in the Festivalpark in Werchter.
Ryan Tedder, front man of OneRepublic, has an impressive talent for writing big hits. The world’s greatest pop stars, from Beyoncé to Adele, Ellie Goulding and Ed Sheeran have made use of his outstanding skills. However, his main focus is on his own band. OneRepublic debuted in 2007 with Dreaming Out Loud. This dreaming has borne fruit: Every month, more than 40 million streams are counted on Spotify. Counting Stars, Run, Apologize, Rescue Me and the recent single I Ain’t Worried are recognisable from their first notes.
Those who attended Rock Werchter last summer, and experienced the day’s opener, arrived at the biggest party ever at noon. Responsible for this amazing time was Goldband. Catchy songs like Noodgeval, De Langste Nacht, Witte Was, Dit Is Voor Jou and Alles Kapot earned these three plasterers from The Hague widespread fame in the Low Countries. Goldbrand’s triumphal march continues at a furious pace. This spring they will perform twice at a sold-out Lotto Arena in Antwerp, and Werchter Boutique awaits them in the summer.
Tickets for Werchter Boutique 2023 are available at ticketmaster.be. So far, more than 50,000 tickets have been sold. More names for the festival will be announced later.
