Headliner Bruno Mars will be in good company at Werchter Boutique 2018. Oscar And The Wolf is among the best that Belgium has to offer, with singer Max Colombie impressing audiences and critics alike, both live and with his recordings. Sir Elton John is a fan. In his show on Beats 1, Apple Music’s radio station, he recently called Oscar And The Wolf “The biggest in Belgium at the moment.”. Plenty of praise was heaped on the band, which received numerous good reviews after their recent concerts at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp. On Saturday 16 June, Oscar And The Wolf play Werchter Boutique. Now that’s something to look forward to!
Following the announcement of the two headliners for Werchter Boutique 2018, i.e., Bruno Mars and Oscar And The Wolf, more major pop acts are set to be added to the line-up soon. Tickets for Werchter Boutique 2018 are on sale from Ticketmaster and Proximus Go For Music.
Oscar And The Wolf sounds like the perfect title for a fairy-tale. And that is exactly what it is for Max Colombie, the mastermind behind this project. The young man is the wunderkind of Belgian pop, bursting onto the scene with his album “Entity” in 2014. He achieved things that nobody has done before at such a young age. He sold out the Sportpaleis in no time at all and made festival crowds wax ecstatic with such languorous seductive hits as “Princes”, “Undress” and “You’re Mine” (feat. Raving George). At Rock Werchter 2017, the delirious audience reduced Colombie to tears. On his most recent – already gold – album “Infinity” (2017) he wraps up his wistful twenty-first century soul in a haze of electronica and a club vibe. Top hits such as “Breathing” and “Runaway” sparkle just as brightly as the eccentric stage outfits of the young man who wrote them. A world-class act.
